Many of our business customers have been helped through these tough times with a PPP loan. As many of the new PPP loan customers are making the move to Sabal Palm Bank for all of their banking needs, they are getting the opportunity to work with our transition team.
Meet the Transition Team
Diana Correa

Diana is originally from Medellin, Colombia, before she moved to the United States in 2012 with her family. She lived in Sarasota for 5 years before moving to Japan where she lived for two years. While there she got her first “banking job” working for the military division of Bank of America as a CSR/Teller. She said it was a great experience but she was so glad to come back to Sarasota and start working at Sabal Palm Bank. “I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to work very closely with the community, to be able to help small businesses and make a difference, because I believe that’s what we do here, every day .”
Some of Diana’s Favorites…
Road trips with her boyfriend, Netflix, sunsets, Harry Potter, sound of waves crashing, smell of the ocean, cheeseburgers, reading, dancing, and margaritas!
What does it mean to be a part of the transition team: “Being part of the team with Heather and Paula has been a great opportunity for me to be able to work with two women who are excellent in what they do and from whom I learn new things every day.”
Paula Malone

Paula moved to Florida in 1999 from her home state of Michigan. Her career in banking started at the age of 19 at a Savings & Loan before moving on to Commercial Banking. Once she came to Florida Paula worked a series of fun jobs like a bead store, Mote Marine Aquarium & Laboratory, the Home Depot and Target, before heading back to banking. Paula is hoping to travel within the United States to see all of the great parks out west in the near future.
